New Year's Eve booking terms
These terms apply to the New Year's Eve dinner at The Fountain at Clent on Thursday 31 December 2026.

Group booking and payment
Choose a party of at least two and up to 30 guests, subject to the places available. The event has 30 covers in total. You can pay for your own place or for several guests in one secure checkout. You must give the menu choices, wine flight and supplement selections for everyone you pay for. The organiser can then share a private invitation so others can choose and pay for one or more remaining places.
We capture each payment when it succeeds. If places remain unpaid after the organiser's first payment, we hold the full requested group for 72 hours from that verified payment. Each later checkout gives its payer about 30 minutes to finish, within the group deadline. A later payment does not restart the 72 hours. Your group is confirmed only when every place has been paid for. If the first payment covers everyone, the group is confirmed when that payment is verified.
If places remain unpaid when the 72 hours end, the group needs staff review. We will contact the organiser to discuss an extension, reducing the group to at least two, or cancellation. If we cancel an incomplete group, we will refund all payments already captured for that group, including paid menu places, wine flights and supplements, to the original payment methods. Refunds are handled by our team; they are not automatic.
Online requests for new groups close at the end of 29 November 2026. A group already in its payment window can continue to its own deadline.
Menu and special requests
Each guest chooses a starter, main and dessert and can select a standard or pescatarian menu. Please contact us before paying about allergies or dietary needs so we can confirm what we can serve. Vegetarian and vegan menus are unavailable.
You can ask us to source a particular wine or make another special arrangement. A request is not included in the menu, wine flight or supplement price. It is subject to availability and a separate quote, which we will discuss with you before arranging or charging for it.
If you cancel or change your group
Call 01562 883 286 or email dine@thefountainatclent.co.uk with the booking name and reference. The date we receive your request in UK local time determines the standard refund below. The original group size selected when the booking was made sets the refund schedule, even if the group is later reduced. The percentage applies to the amount paid for each cancelled place, including its paid wine flight and supplements.

Contact us to change a guest name or the number of places. A substitution is different from cancelling a place. We will confirm any change and payment adjustment with you. The group must have at least two guests. We review cancellation and refund requests individually; submitting a request does not trigger an automatic card refund.
If we cancel or make a significant change
If The Fountain cancels the event or cancels an incomplete group after staff review, we will refund its captured event payments in full to the original payment methods. If we make a significant change to what was agreed, please contact us. These terms do not limit your statutory rights.
