Visiting
Planning your visit
No, the bar and patio are walk-in only. There is no booking system for the bar, so just come along and we will find you a space. On busy evenings there may be a short wait, but we will always do our best to accommodate you.
The walk-in bar is open Friday from 5:30pm to 10pm, Saturday from 12pm to 10pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 7pm. Wednesday and Thursday are restaurant dining only (bar food still available until 9pm). The pub is closed Monday and Tuesday. As a countryside pub, we may occasionally close earlier than advertised on quieter days, so if you are travelling specifically, please call ahead.
Yes, we have outdoor seating at both the front and back of the pub, available weather permitting. Both areas are great for al fresco drinks and dining, and dogs are very welcome outside too.
Yes, families are welcome in the bar. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Please note that the bar is a licensed premises and we are not able to admit unaccompanied minors.
We are located at Odnall Lane, Clent, DY9 9PU. There is a car park on site. If you have any trouble finding us, please give us a call on 01562 883 286 and we will be happy to help.

Yes, we are a dog-friendly pub and love welcoming well-behaved dogs. Dogs are welcome in the bar and on the patio. They are not permitted in the main restaurant.
Dogs are welcome in the bar area and on the outdoor patio. They are not permitted in the main restaurant, where Sunday lunch and the à la carte menu are served. If you would like to dine in the restaurant, your dog will need to stay at home for that visit.
Just ask a member of staff and we will happily provide a bowl of water for your dog.
Food & Drink
What's on the menu
The bar serves our dedicated bar menu, which includes nibbles, starters, small plates, paninis, burgers, grill dishes, sides and desserts. Bar food is available all day while we are open, including Wednesday and Thursday restaurant service. The bar menu finishes at 9pm Wednesday to Saturday, and Sunday food runs through until 7pm. The walk-in bar area is Friday to Sunday only.
Yes. The bar menu is a separate menu designed for casual, relaxed eating. The main restaurant serves our à la carte menu and Sunday lunch menu, which are more formal dining experiences. The bar menu features dishes like halloumi fries, burgers, paninis, steaks and desserts.
The Sunday lunch menu, including roasts, is served in the main restaurant only. In the bar on Sundays, we serve our regular bar menu alongside Sunday lunch service in the restaurant, from 12pm to 7pm. If you would like a Sunday roast, please book a table in the restaurant.
Absolutely. You are very welcome to come in just for drinks with no obligation to order food. We have a great selection of draught beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks available throughout opening hours.
