Visiting
Planning your visit
No — the bar and patio are walk-in only. There is no booking system for the bar, so just come along and we will find you a space. On busy evenings there may be a short wait, but we will always do our best to accommodate you.
The bar is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11am for drinks, and from 12pm for bar food. On Sunday, the bar opens at 11am for drinks and bar food is served from 12pm to 6pm. We are fully closed on Monday and Tuesday. As a countryside pub, we may occasionally close earlier than advertised on quieter days — if you are travelling specifically, please call ahead.
Yes — we have outdoor seating at both the front and back of the pub, available weather permitting. Both areas are great for al fresco drinks and dining, and dogs are very welcome outside too.
Yes, families are welcome in the bar. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Please note that the bar is a licensed premises and we are not able to admit unaccompanied minors.
We are located at Odnall Lane, Clent, DY9 9PU. There is a car park on site. If you have any trouble finding us, please give us a call on 01562 883 286 and we will be happy to help.

Bringing your dog
Yes — we are a dog-friendly pub and love welcoming well-behaved dogs. Dogs are welcome in the bar and on the patio. They are not permitted in the main restaurant.
Dogs are welcome in the bar area and on the outdoor patio. They are not permitted in the main restaurant, where Sunday lunch and the à la carte menu are served. If you would like to dine in the restaurant, your dog will need to stay at home for that visit.
Just ask a member of staff and we will happily provide a bowl of water for your dog.

What's on the menu
The bar serves our dedicated bar menu, which includes nibbles, starters, small plates, paninis, burgers, grill dishes, sides and desserts. Bar food is served Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 8pm, and on Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
Yes. The bar menu is a separate menu designed for casual, relaxed eating. The main restaurant serves our à la carte menu and Sunday lunch menu, which are more formal dining experiences. The bar menu features dishes like halloumi fries, burgers, paninis, steaks and desserts.
The Sunday lunch menu — including roasts — is served in the main restaurant only. In the bar on Sundays, we serve our regular bar menu from 12pm to 6pm. If you would like a Sunday roast, please book a table in the restaurant.
Absolutely. You are very welcome to come in just for drinks with no obligation to order food. We have a great selection of draught beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks available throughout opening hours.
