Whether you are stopping in for a quick drink or settling in for the afternoon, the bar and patio at The Fountain are designed for easy, unhurried visits. Enjoy a pint, a glass of wine, cocktails or something soft alongside our full bar menu of light bites, small plates, burgers and more.
The patio is available weather permitting and offers a comfortable outdoor setting overlooking the countryside. No booking is ever needed — just arrive and make yourself at home.
Dogs Welcome
Dogs are very welcome in the bar and on the patio. They are not permitted in the main restaurant. We are a dog-friendly pub and love seeing your four-legged friends.
Outdoor Patio
We have outdoor seating at both the front and back of the pub. Available weather permitting, it's a great spot for al fresco drinks and dining in the heart of Clent.
Walk-in Only
No booking is needed for the bar or patio. Just come along and we will find you a space. For the main restaurant, bookings are available online.

Common questions about the bar & patio
No — the bar and patio are walk-in only. There is no booking system for the bar, so just come along and we will find you a space.
Yes — dogs are very welcome in the bar and on the patio. They are not permitted in the main restaurant. Just ask a member of staff for a water bowl.
We serve our dedicated bar menu, covering nibbles, small plates, paninis, burgers, grill dishes, sides and desserts. Bar food is available Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 8pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
Sunday roasts are served in the main restaurant only. The bar serves our regular bar menu on Sundays. To book a Sunday roast, please reserve a table in the restaurant.
Drinks are served Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 10pm, and Sunday from 11am to 7pm. Bar food is served Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 8pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. We are fully closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Yes — we have outdoor seating at both the front and back of the pub, available weather permitting. Both areas are great for al fresco drinks and food, and dogs are welcome outside too.
